Anthony Bemboom
Meet Anthony Bemboom, EPM's Athlete Onboarding and Business Development Specialist. Anthony recently completed a13-year professional baseball career, 5 of which were spent at the Major League level from 2019–2023 and retiring in 2024. A former catcher, Anthony was drafted in the 22nd round of the 2012 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim out of Creighton University — where his journey in professional baseball began.
Over the course of his career, Anthony suited up for some of the most storied organizations in the game. At the MLB level, he played for the Los Angeles Angels, Baltimore Orioles, and Tampa Bay Rays. He made his Major League debut in 2019 with the Tampa Bay Rays and was a proud member of the 2023 Baltimore Orioles. Along the way, he also reached AAA with the Colorado Rockies, Detroit Tigers, and Los Angeles Dodgers. His career achievements include a California League Championship in 2013 and an AAA National Championship in 2023.
As a catcher, Anthony was always the leader on the field — calling pitches, managing a pitching staff, and reading the game in real time. That same instinct for communication, preparation, and high-stakes decision-making carried directly into his next chapter in medical device sales.
After retiring from professional baseball, Anthony joined Arthrex as a Technology Specialist focused on Sports Medicine. Over the course of 1.5 years, he learned how to leverage his athletic background in a fast-paced, competitive industry. He built strong relationships with healthcare professionals, developed a deep understanding of anatomy, pathology, and product training, and gained hands-on experience breaking down a territory, navigating different types of medical facilities, and setting the right expectations for what it takes to succeed as a rep. That foundation gave him a clear picture of what athletes need to know — and what no one tells them — before stepping into med device.
Now, Anthony brings both perspectives to EPM: the athlete who lived through the transition and the industry professional who understands what it takes to thrive on the other side of it.
Outside of his professional life, Anthony is a devoted husband and father. He and his wife are raising their son together, and family comes first in everything he does. When he's not working, you can find him on the golf course or out on the water fishing — two pursuits that keep his competitive edge sharp and his mind clear.
Anthony joined Elite Performance Medical because he knows firsthand that the transition out of professional sports is not easy — and that having the right people in your corner makes all the difference. The medical device world is demanding, but athletes are uniquely equipped to succeed in it. The discipline, coachability, competitiveness, and relationship skills that sports builds translate directly into this industry. Anthony is here to help athletes identify whether med device is the right fit for them, navigate the path forward with confidence, and hit the ground running from day one.
He believes in what EPM is building — and he's ready to get to work.
