Matt Wisler
Meet Co-Founder Matt Wisler. Matt recently retired from a 13 year professional baseball career. Matt was drafted in 2011 in the 7th round of the MLB draft out of Bryan High School. Matt made his Major League Debut June 19, 2015 against the New York Mets and got the win against Jacob Degrom going 8 innings of 1 run baseball. Matt would start for another year or so in the big leagues before transitioning to a full time reliever at the end of 2018. He solidified himself in the major leagues from 2019-2022 and in total ended with just over 6 years of Major League service time. He pitched in 234 big league games, starting in 66 of those and recording 4 saves as a reliever. He totaled 25 wins with 436 strike outs in 507.1 innings. He was apart of 9 organizations and made it up with 8 of them.

1. time Minor League Pitcher of the Year with the San Diego Padres
Numerous Pitcher of the Week Honors in the Minor Leagues
Won the Texas League Title in AA with the San Antonio Missions
Became San Diego Padres Number one prospect according to Baseball America 5. Made MLB’s Top 100 Prospects after the 2013 season
Was the youngest player to make the Opening Day roster of the Atlanta Braves in 2016 at 23 7. Minnesota Twins Most Improved Twin for the 2020 season.
Matt became the 1st MLB pitcher to ever throw a pitch on a military base when he started in the Fort Bragg game in 2016 on Sunday Night Baseball
Matt was on 3 straight playoff teams between 2020-2022 (MN 2020, Tampa Bay Rays 2021- 2022)
While baseball was his main priority during his playing days, Matt had a lot of interests outside of baseball. He is an avid golfer, who wants to improve now in retirement. He loves to cook, and even has in own Instagram page you can follow to see some of his recipes. Matt has always enjoyed just spending time with his friends an family whenever he can. He was married in 2019 to his wife, Madie, and they now have a puppy, Odie, added to the mix. They both love traveling and have visited Europe twice in the past couple years and loved every second of it. Italy was a dream he said. On the side, Matt has a passion for finances and investments. He has been investing himself for over a decade and recently has gotten more in depth into his own real estate investing going as far as owning multiple rental homes by himself. He has read many books on business and real estate and is ready to put that knowledge to work now and learn on the fly.
Matt was very dedicated to his craft, always putting baseball ahead of almost everything besides family in his life. He has been that way since before high school. He has spent a lot of this time working out and training by himself and knows how to work hard and the value of that. He believes in the vision that Telly and Mike have shown him with Elite Performance Medical and is ready to get to work with them to help those in his own situation of life after sports.
